"Santa Land" explores why adults still need fairy tales—stories of grief, love, and wonder that heal, inspire, and invite us to believe again.

This is the beginning of the book Santa Land Novel. We open with our character Tom sitting at a keyboard...that is after we've been greeted by a cricket who sets the stage for our journey with Tom. And our beloved. Who is that? Well you have to find out for yourself. And what's this nonsense about a cricket? Well, maybe the key to all of your questions are revealed every time you hear a cricket chirp. And it becomes ringing in your ears.

To draw or sculpt, one must first see the form before it exists. That takes precision and courage. Michelangelo is claimed to have said he did not carve stone, but instead, released the figure wanting to be free from the stone.  And in a sense, that is what I have been doing with my own life these past months: releasing myself from the hardened calcified remains of who I once was. And boy was it heavy.
